Won't Work

Using Daemon Tools, I made it to 28% on 'Expanding Files'. (By the way, there were pixels all over the screen after the first restart. Is that normal on an installation of Vista?) When it got stuck on 28%, it eventually came up with a BSOD.

STOP: 0x0000009C (0X00000004 , 0X838E0908 , 0XB2000000 , 0X00070F0F)
By the way, I tried twice. The first time, when I moved my mouse, the computer froze up.
The second time, I didn't move the mouse.
Would this have anything to do with my CPU being overclocked? Thanks. (I'm going to try again without it being OC'd.)

It could well be associated with an overclocked PC. Also remove any unnecessary external devices that might cause problems detecting during setup, this includes external drives and USB based devices. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Might I add that my mouse and keyboard are USB? "Andre Da Costa [Extended64]" wrote in message

Well, desparate times call for desparate measures, if you have any PS/2 keyboard/mouse, its worth connecting them and try again. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
